Position Overview:
Placement Pros is seeking reliable and detail oriented kitchen staff to join our team in Edmonton, supporting an important client in providing high quality food preparation and kitchen support. Location: Edmonton
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure cleanliness by thoroughly scouring pots and pans.
• Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items to meet customer orders.
• Keep refrigerators and salad bars stocked with fresh ingredients.
• Receive, unpack, and store supplies in various storage areas (refrigerators, freezers, cupboards).
• Maintain cleanliness by removing kitchen garbage and trash regularly.
• Sharpen kitchen knives to ensure they are safe and effective.
• Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to uphold a clean and safe environment.
• Prepare vegetables and fruit for cooking by washing, peeling, and cutting as needed.
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in kitchen or food preparation roles is an asset.
• Ability to work 3040 hours per week.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
